The space

Forest Getaway is a spacious property distributed over three floors that comfortably accommodates ten people. There is a lovely garden with a good size swimming pool to enjoy with the family on hot summer days while a hot-tub and a wood burning stove ensure your comfort and relaxation continue even in colder winter months. When you arrive at the property you can leave your car in the driveway, which can fit comfortably 4 cars, and make your way inside into a spacious Hallway where you can drop everything. The Kitchen is very well equipped to prepare delicious home-made meals for the whole family, with lots of space and appliances to suit your cooking and baking needs. The Dining Room can sit 10 adults comfortably around a large dinner table and has direct access from the kitchen and outside onto one of five sitting areas in the garden perfect to enjoy during warm months.

The Lounge can be found on the lower level. It is bright, private and cosy overlooking the garden and the patio with the hot-tub. The woodburning stove makes the place perfect even during the coldest winter nights. There is a covered outdoor sitting area on the side of the house with a garden heater directly connected to the lounge which is ideal to sneak out on rainy days. In the lounge, there are also two separate work areas, a desk and a computer. The ground floor also has the laundry room with washing machine and a dryer and a cloakroom with a toilet. All bedrooms are accessed via staircase leading to the upper floors. On the first floor, there is the main Master Suite with stunning views into the garden and the surrounding countryside and a bathroom with a tub. There are also two more King-size bedrooms and a Double bedroom on this floor down the corridor and a Shower room. Another Shower room can be found on the top floor where you will also find the fifth Bedroom with a Super-king size bed.

Forest Getaway is a superb base for lovers of the outdoors and sports with its immediate proximity to Burnham Beeches and The Chilterns as well as the golf valley. Farnham Common may seem like a quiet village and it certainly is not the Windsor high street but make sure you always have your ‘right foot’ forward as you never know when you bump into one of residents – Anton du Beke! There really is a lot on offer for everyone but it pays to be organised and plan ahead. As well as a broad selection of restaurants and coffee shops there are also good take aways to choose from and ever so popular farm shops where you can pick up local produce for your dinner.
